The Bible says that if you’re humble and obedient, it leads to many blessings — including financial blessings.
The Greek word of “holy” in the Bible is hagios which literally means “set apart for God.” And God is love (1 John 45:8).
How does money become holy? When your main purpose for having it is LOVE.
2 Most Important Signs of Holy Money
Sign #1: If the PURPOSE of money is love.
- Remember that when money is given away in love, it becomes holy. Why? Because its purpose is LOVE!
- It is your moral duty to give. If it’s your moral duty to give, therefore, it’s your moral duty to become truly rich. (What will you give if you don’t earn?)
- Through tithing, you are shipping your wealth to heaven. The Bible says so!
Sign #2: If the PROCESS of money is love.
- Ask yourself: “How did I earn my money? In the PROCESS if making money, did I become more LOVING? More patient? More sacrificial? More selfless?”
- If the answers are yes, then no doubt about it, your money is holy. Your work is holy. Your job is holy. Your business is holy. Your investment is holy.
Relationship More Than Revenue
It’s easy for God to simply answer your prayer for financial blessings. In a snap of a finger, all the money you want could just suddenly appear in front of you. But instead, to fulfill your financial dreams, God will work beside you. He’ll allow you to make mistakes. Because the purpose is not to build your dreams. The purpose is to build a relationship between the Dreamer and the Dream-Giver.
Only One Thing Understands The Greatness of Love
When people are prosperous, they forget Love. When people are beautiful, absorbed in their magnificence, they don’t think of others and forget Love. When people are happy, they don’t think of other people’s unhappiness and forget Love. When people are sad, they’re absorbed by their own problems and forget Love. Only Time knows that Love is the most important thing in the universe.
Wealth is crying out to fulfill its God-ordained mission of loving others. And wealth wants to find its way into the hands of loving people who:
- Will use it for LOVE, and
- Will earn it with LOVE.
Be that person! Be that person of Great Love!
