How’s your relationship with money? – The FEAST Rizal

“Brother Bo, why am I unhappy?’

The thirtyish woman with short hairs and a yellow scarf around her shoulder looked intelligent, successful, but her eyes were sad. “I mean, I’m supposed to be happy,” she said. “For the first time in my life, I’m earning a lot of money. I got a new job last year and I got this huge raise. They tripled my salary, Brother Bo. I could’t believe it. Plus, they gave me a big bonus the day I joined the company. I’m supposed to be ecstatic. But why don’t I feel happy at all?”

Bo Sanchez at Feast PICCI asked her my usual “check-up” questions – whether there was anything wrong with her relationships  her marriage, or her spiritual life. I dug deeper and asked about any fear for the future. I even asked about any guilt she’s carrying. I was shocked when everything about her life was rosy. Everything was doing well in every department. And she wasn’t aware of any fear or worry that was bothering her.

So it was even more intriguing why she felt unhappy  And then an idea came to my mind. I asked her, “Are you comfortable earning a lot of money?” At first, she said yes, but I wasn’t convinced she was convinced with her answer. Later, I realized that she had a terrible relationship with money. I learned that when she was a child, her parents taught her to look at money with great suspicion. Deep in her subconscious, she believed that money was an instrument of the devil.

As we talked some more, we also discovered that she was more comfortable with poverty than with prosperity. Because of her newfound wealth, she was living in foreign territory. And anything that was unfamiliar was frightening.

Today, we start a brand new series that will help you have a happy, healthy, and holy relationship with money. You will be set free! I’ve been giving so many financial seminars, I sometimes forget how explosive they are in the blessing one’s life. This month, get ready for financial prisons to vanish from your life!

Have a phenomenal Feast today!

May your dreams come true,

Bo Sanchez
