My dear friends in the Lord,
Today we will start a new teaching module about WEALTH. Our exciting series is about Happy, Healthy, Holy Money: “Changing your relationship with wealth.”
Naaalala ko pa noong 1990 nang ako ay magumpisang magtrabaho bilang full-time worker for the Lord. Sinabi ko sa asawa ko na kailangan simple na lang lang ang aming buhay dahil hindi maganda sa mata ng mga tao na ako ay naglilingkod sa Panginoon tapos marangya ang aming buhay. Nagkamali ako sa pag-aakala na ang full-time worker ni Lord ay dapat iwaksi ang kayamanan dahil may pamilya pala akong dapat kong arugain. Hindi ako si St. Francis of Assisi na pwedeng yakapin ang kahirapan.
After a few years, I shifted my paradigm after I realized that God wants to prosper His people. What I need is the right relationship I must have with wealth. I realized that even as a full-time worker for the Lord, I can be happy possessing wealth and can be happier sharing to God and to others a portion of my wealth.
Brothers and sisters, that is what we will discover in the next three weeks as we go through our exciting series. I am very excited and I hope you are, too.
May our loving God continue to use us to bless more people!
