Mantra

Praying

“And God shall supply all your needs according to His riches and glory.” Phil.4:18

I believe that our words create reality. What we believe and declare has power to create something new.

Try this. Tomorrow morning, stand in front of a looking glass, say to your reflection: “You are one beautiful creation of God.” I tell, you will feel good, confident and will have an awesome day. The following day, try the opposite of it. Tell yourself: “You are nothing.” Believe me! You will have one challenging day.

Ever since I have learned this phenomenon, I have started saying my favourite mantra (which I got from my friend, Bro. Bo Sanchez): “Everything I need comes to me.”

Let me mention two incidents when the “word becomes flesh”.

Last December, my business partner and I were going home late from a business meeting. We were having difficulties getting a ride from Ortigas due to the phenomenon known as Christmas rush! To add pressure, he is under the weather and would like to go home to rest. Despite the desperate situation, I calmly told him: “Everything I need comes to me. A cab will bring us home”. As I turned around, lo and behold, a cab was already available to give us a ride.

January 2009 was when my wife declared to her co-teachers at Cradle of Joy Center for Learning (www.coj.net) that she will be pregnant and will give birth to a child within the year. By December that year, our youngest son, Alab, was born.

There are a lot of instances that with faith and a powerful declaration, the way gets paved for God’s miraculous hands to move and bless us or others as well….

… When I needed a new business partner, he or she comes.

… When I needed the right person to do a specific job, he or she comes.

… When I needed cash to help a person in dire need, it comes.

As the Bible says, God’s word created the entire universe. We, too, can create our Godly, phenomenal and magnificent life if we believe and speak in faith.

Believe, declare and see how God can perform miracles in your lives… In Jesus’ name.
